SLA College Acceptance

Upon graduation, our students have been accepted to a wide range of schools of higher learning. We offer Senior High students college counseling in our Guidance Counselor's office. We host several Christian colleges in our chapel programs. The colleges present their school to the young people. Futhermore, we offer Senior High students the opportunity to visit colleges and universities to which our graduates have been accepted: Pensacola Christian College, Piedmont Bible College, Tennessee Temple University, Trinity Baptist College, Taylor University, Bryan University, Master's College in Tennessee, Toccoa Falls College, GTCC, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest.

SLA Graduation Requirements

Because courses are offered on a semester basis, a student must pass the course each semester in order to receive the credit value assigned for that semester. If a student fails a required course, he will have to make up the credit. Beginning in the 9th grade, students receive credits toward graduation and must complete the requirements for graduation listed below:

4 units Bible
4 units English (includes Vocabulary and Literature)
3 1/2 units History (Government 1/2, Geography 1/2, U.S. History, World History, Economics 1/2)
4 units Math (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II also some with Advanced Math)
3 units Science (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry)
1 unit PE/Health
2 units Foreign Language (Spanish I & II)
1 unit Computer
